Warren G. Thompson, throughout his professional life, set high goals for himself and expected his fellow citizens to give their best to their community.  Following his death, fellow Chester Rotarians decided to commemorate their respect and admiration for him through an annual Rotary award to a Chester citizen who best epitomized the value of “Service Above Self.”  This award, known as the Warren G. Thompson Community Service Award continues today
