Heard at Today's Meeting

In President Tony absense Brion called the meeting to order at 7:31.  Pete A. led us in prayer,

John E. led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Krista led us in song Take Me Out to the Ball Game.(for all you die heart Cub fans)

 

Happy $:

Lots of folks were happy to include John E; Dick S;  Bob Schrum, Pete A; Jack, Angelo and Dave.

We also had two honest fines: Krista and Boo

 

Educator:

Chatted about special Rotary observances throughout the year: January is Rotary Awareness, February is World Understanding, July is Literacy Month, September is New Generation, October is Vocational Service, November is Rotary Foundation

This Week's Program:

We welcome into our ranks Garrett MacGruder and Scott Loshkreff today.

 

Kristy Joplin from the MS Society and Melanie Humphreys were our guest speakers.  Melanie gave a heart warm talk a over her battle with MS and Kristy provided insight on what the MS Society is doing to help people with MS.

 

Upcoming Programs:

Next week our speaker host will be Katht Jentgen and Bill Rauschberg is the greeter. Be sure to check the website calendar for future events, and the Member area for future speaker and greeter assignments

Raffle:  Pete B.won the small pot worth $21.00 and drew the seven of spades. The large pot is worth $477.  

 

 

As Always, we close the meeting with the 4-way test....Of the things we think, say, and do...
