Heard at Today's Meeting

President Tony called the meeting to order at 7:30. Pete A.led us in prayer, Tony led the Pledge of allegiance, and Dave led us in song God Bless America

 

Happy $:  Tony was happy, Bill Humphrey was happy (Also supporting the MS Walk this Saturday), Pete A, Suzy and Pete B were also happy.

 

Educator:  Suzy volunteered to become the club educator.  (And do we need it)  Thank you Suzy

 

Announcements:  Rose asked for pray support in the upcoming weeks.  Her son's killer goes through court proceedings. 

 

This Week's Program:  Business Meeting to finalize plans for the Fool for the Arts this Saturday April 18, 2009.  CLUB PARTICIPATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.  The crowd for this year's event is anticipated to be 6,000 folks (almost a doubling from last year).  Grills will be prepositioned Thursday o/a 2:00pm.  Setup will be Friday o/a 1:00pm.  Event start Saturday at 10:00am and ends 5:00pm.  Plan to arrive 8:30am Saturday and stay pass 5:00pm for cleanup  (Good job in planning Ron)

Next week our speaker host will be June Garrett. Be sure to check the website calendar for future events, and the Member area for future speaker and greeter assignments

Birthdays and Anniversaries for the Month:

 

Raffle:  Graham won the small pot worth $ 13.00 and drew the five of diamonds. The large pot is now worth $400.00.  

 

 

As Always, we close the meeting with the 4-way test....Of the things we think, say, and do...
