This Week's Program:
Chip Houston, retired Marine Lt Col talked about Families of the Wounded Fund, Inc. www.fotwf.org. McQuire, here in Richmond, is one of four VA hospitals which receive combat wounded soldiers. On average 100 wounded soldiers annually come to McQuire He gave a very moving talk on what this worthwhile organization is doing for the families of combat wounded soldiers. The group provides, with no questions asked, $6,000 to the family. The organization was founded four (4) years ago and has raised over $1.6 million mostly through $5 and $10 donations. Their criteria for support is 1) soldier needs to combat wounded and 2) the families need to be out of town. (Always looking for opportunites to talk to groups i.e. churches, civic clubs, etc.)

Is it FAIR TO ALL CONCERNED...
Will it BUILD GOOD WILL AND BETTER FRIENDSHIP....
Will it be BENEFICIAL TO ALL CONCERNED....
