Heard at Today's Meeting

Pres. Bill called the meeting to order at 7:30.Larry led us in prayer,Pres. Bill  led the Pledge of allegiance, Bud and  led us in song - the old favorite (of someone) Home on The Range

 

Happy $

Happy $ were a little light, but there were a few happy souls today - Pete (the golfer), Dave, Larry, Leeann, and re-Pete.

 

 

Announcements

Next Wednesday is our BIG fundraiser - the HOG. We need everybody to show up and help. Ruesday set-up is at 5:30 pm and Wednesday get there as early as you can. We need cooks, choppers, servers, and more. We need YOU!!

 

 

This Week's Program

Jack introduced our speaker Doc Thompson who's bio says he has been fired from good radio stations all over the country. Doc talked about how America was and the wonderful changes that have come about over the last 200 years. His wit, sarcasm, and opinions can be heard every day Mon-Fri

on WRVA 1140 AM from 3 - 6 PM (a welcome break between Rush and Hannity. More info on his website http://www.wrva.com/pages/docthompson.html. He will be giving away some tickets to the HOG today and Friday.
