Heard at Today's Meeting

Pres. Bill called the meeting to order at 7:30. Brion led us in prayer, Pres Bill led the Pledge of allegiance, and Warren/Sam led us in song - God Bless America. Man-on-the-Street told use about the theif that stole a calendar and got 12 months.

 

Happy $

Tony happy for MMFF sponsors. Leanne happy for Badges and Scott was happy for vthev day when Leanne will be greeter and have t0 greet each member by name without badges. Warren happy to be celebrating an anniversary with his bride. Darryl happy the State Fair starts tomorrow and he will be performing. Pres. Bill happy Boo is leading GSE team to Phillipines in Feb.Boo is happy she has a booth at the fair - stop by the youth area and see her. Pete was happy about the new TV series "War" about WWII.

 

 

Announcements

BOD meeting Monday 10/1 at Shoney's 7pm. If you want dinner come early.

Pete announced ramp buildind this Fri-Sat. Recipient is 66 yr old lady in Col. Hts. that has to be taken from the house by Fire Dept each time she goes to Dr. appt.

. is having a Longenberger Basket party Saturday - stop by after ramp installation for a feast and to buy some baskets.

No meeting next week - instead we will meet at the Boulders for MMFF at 3:30. All Rotarians working will need tickets. We need lots of help at soup tent and beer tent Get your ticket and sponsor money to Warren.

Sam reminded us that annual giving to Foundation is due before Nov. Get it in early and avoid the club being hassled for being late.
