Heard at Today's Meeting

Pres. Bill called the meeting to order promptly at 7:30.Following the prayer and Pledge of allegiance, Sam M led us in song "God Bless America.  A few unnamed members made late appearance, but were not subjected to public humiliation, rather depended on to be forthright with their fines. Former member and longtime Rotarian Henry Moncure has re-applied for membership. Brittany Long (a distant relative of one of our members) has recieved several scholarship including a $4000 awards from Lowes.

Happy $

Chuck was happy to be back. Larry happy to have survived 3 years of marital bliss. Darryl was really happy to see that something goes on between 7 and 7:30.  Pete was happy to have completed some ramps and made some lives better. Ernie was happy after 54 years married to the same woman. Scott was happy to have spent 5 days on a silent retreat – we never sounded so good and so did he. Boo was happy for all the help delivering lunches for the work camp folks last week. Ernie was also happy for the industrial tour at Chaparral Steel 2 weeks ago – great event – AND they donated another $1000 to Chester Rotary.

Is it the  TRUTH...

Is it  FAIR TO ALL CONCERNED...

Will it   BUILD GOOD WILL AND BETTER FRIENDSHIP....

Will it be  BENEFICIAL TO ALL CONCERNED....
