Heard at Today's Meeting

This was a very busy meeting, highlighted by many guests invited to receive donations, scholarship awards, and political aspirants looking for votes next Tuesday. There were almost as many guests as there were members.

Announcements

Chuck – next week we have the annual Changing of the Guard party at Chuck and Sarah’s. Need for about 6 members to bring “Meat” dishes – call Chuck. Otherwise if name begins with A-G, bring a salad. If your name is between H-M, bring a veggie side. Those toward the end of the alphabet can bring their favorite dessert. Each “Side” should feed about 8 people.

Ron distributed assignments for next year’s speakers. If you lose it, it will be posted on the website as well.

Chuck also informed us of a new Rotary sign on Rt. 10 in front of Wild Rose to let the public know we meet there.

No meeting next Wednesday AM in lieu of the evening party – fines will be double if you miss that one.

June is working on a dinner meeting at “Positive Vibe Café. Hopefully in August.

As Always, we close the meeting with the 4-way test....Of the things we think, say, and do...

Is it the  TRUTH...

Is it  FAIR TO ALL CONCERNED...

Will it   BUILD GOOD WILL AND BETTER FRIENDSHIP....

Will it be  BENEFICIAL TO ALL CONCERNED....
