Announcements

Our next Elder Care ramp project will be May 4 & 5. We will build on Friday and install on Saturday. We need workers both days. Let Pete know if you can help.

Time was spent discussing how we can increase exposure and ticket sales for the HOG. Several ideas were presented including more ticket sales outlets (sponsors?), more signage, promoting other organizations to sell tickets to their members and keep $5 from each ticket sold, have local celebrity at event and additional activities (dunking booth).

Fool For Art at JTCC Midlothian Campus on 4/21 from 10-5. We will be selling food and need workers for the event. Angelo is the Chairman.

District Assembly will be on April 28 at CNU in Newport News. All are encouraged to attend and learn more about Rotary. Program starts with Continental Breakfast at 7:30AM. See District website for details (www.district7600.org )

This Week's Program

Ms. Tamara Evans, director of the "Magnolia Grange" was introduced by Krista. Tamara is a lifelong Chesterfield resident and has worked at the Historical Society site for many years. She talked about Chesterfield County's history and historical sites which relative newcomers (like me) did not know anything about. A very interesting program about what is going on right where we live.

Upcoming Programs

Next week our speaker host will be Larry Madison  . Be sure to check the website calendar for future speaker hosts

Also check the district website at www.rotary7600.org and look on the calendar.

As Always, we close the meeting with the 4-way test....Of the things we think, say, and do...

Is it the  TRUTH...

Is it  FAIR TO ALL CONCERNED...

Will it   BUILD GOOD WILL AND BETTER FRIENDSHIP....

Will it be  BENEFICIAL TO ALL CONCERNED....
