This Week's Program

Junior Achievement education manager Heather Webb told us of the great work JA is doing in the schools of Chesterfield County and throughout the Central Virginia area. Using volunteers they visit schools presenting programs teaching students about business and economics. They have programs for K-12. They have had over 1100 requests from schools in the area.300 were turned away due to lack of volunteers. A volunteer spends about 45 minutes/day, once a week for 6-10 weeks depending on grade level. If you would like to get envolved call Heather at 217-8868.

Upcoming Programs

Next week our speaker host will be Ron Laux  . Be sure to check the website calendar for future speaker hosts

Also check the district website at www.rotary7600.org and look on the calendar.
