Heard at Today's Meeting

Pres. Warren called the meeting to order at 7:30. Jack Led the Pledge of allegiance, PP John led the prayer, and Sam(s) led us in song "God Bless America "

 

Announcements

The art show at John Tyler will be April 21. We will once again run the food concession.

 

We will host the GSE team from England May 3-7. We tentatively have hosts for 3 of the 5 members. Contact Ron if you can host a team member.

 

Bowling Tournament is Feb. 3. We need to get sponsors and team registrations in to Chuck.

 

On Jan. 12 & 13 we will be building (Fri) and installing (Sat) a wheelchair ramp for a needy person in Colonial Heights. If you can volunteer either day call Pete Adler. Teams are needed both days. Friday we will start at 9AM, and Saturday at 8:30.

Ms. Joanne Tompkins of the Crater Procurement Assistance Center spoke to us about getting government contracts for the Ft. Lee expansion. She works with small businesses, local gov'ts, and SWAMPS (small women and minority persons) to get government contracts
