Krista Led the Pledge of allegiance, PP John led the prayer, and Darryl led us in song "Home on the Range" prompted by PP John in recognition of us being glad to see Darryl back. This Week's Program
This week many members told their stories about the impact Ray had on their lives. Even those of us that are new to Chester have vivid recolections of Ray. He was always outspoken, and conversations had a tendency to call for more listening than talking. Ray seemed to be involved in every facet of his community - sports, church, politics, and people. He truly emulated the spirit of Rotary - Service Above Self. He will be sorely missed by all of us. It was decided at the meeting to name one of the scholarships we give to be given in memory of Ray Hevener.
Upcoming Programs
Next week our speaker will be John Bernier, meterologist from Channel 8 which was postponed from today's meeting. Be sure to check the website calendar for future speaker hosts
