Heard at Today's Meeting

President Brion called the meeting to order at 7:30. We started with prayer, the Pledge of allegiance, and a song.

 

Happy $: Tony had a happy sad story to tell and others contributed in his honor. Pete, Dick, Bob, Dick, Krista and Dave were also happy.

 

Educator:

 

 

Announcements: Details of setting up for Chesterfest were discussed. Anyone setting up can help Friday night around 9PM. All others are asked to help out on Saturday, Sept. 26 starting at 8:30 until it ends around 5PM. Contact Dave or Dick S. for more information.

 

Midlothian Food Festival: Please continue to gather sponsors and sell those tickets! Four or five people will be needed to set up the morning of the event (Oct. 7).

 

Board Meeting on Oct. 5th

 

 

This Week's Program: We presented a scholarship to Dr. Crawford-Patterson, the principal of C.C. Wells Elementary School.

 

 

 

Upcoming Programs:

Next week will be a business meeting. There will be no speaker. There is no meeting on Oct. 7 due to MMFF. Be sure to check the website calendar for future events, and the Member area for future speaker and greeter assignments
